Mazak Optonics Corp. is pleased to announce the hire of Adam Smelewski to National Sales Manager. With increasing interest in direct diode technology and the introduction of the OPTIPLEX 3015 DDL, Smelewski will be in charge of sales growth in North America. Smelewski’s role as National Sales Manager is to oversee development and management of Mazak’s sales team and distribution network.
“We are very pleased to have Adam joining our team, as Mazak Optonics continues to grow, his many years of fabrication experience will further strengthen our expanding core of laser professionals,” stated Al Bohlen, President of Mazak Optonics Corp.
Smelewski has 5 years of sales management experience with laser manufacturers. He also worked for 10 years at Haeger, manufacturers of hardware insertion machines, as a Regional Sales Manager, Distribution Manager, up to North American Sales Manager.
