Mazak Optonics Exhibited at FABTECH Las Vegas 2026
Mazak Optonics exhibited at FABTECH Las Vegas, held October 21–23, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Over three days, visitors to our booth saw live machine demonstrations and the debut of our new OPTONICS Solutions line.
Live Demonstrations: OPTIPLEX 3015 HP
Attendees saw the OPTIPLEX 3015 HP up close. It is a 2D laser processing machine built for stable, high-speed, high-quality cutting of thick materials. It is powered by Mazak’s SmoothCUT resonator, available at 12, 15, 20 or 30 kW, and it handles sheets up to 60" x 120". With GRAND CUT technology and a newly developed nozzle, the OPTIPLEX HP cuts mild steel up to 1.97" thick with excellent edge quality.
Introducing OPTONICS Solutions
FABTECH Las Vegas was the debut of OPTONICS Solutions, powered by Mazak. The line is designed for fabricators who are entering the laser cutting market or growing their capabilities. It offers affordable equipment backed by proven Mazak technology and dependable service. Two machines were featured at the show:
- LZ 3015A Fiber Laser
The LZ 3015A is a 2D fiber laser for thin and medium-thick plate, and it fits in a compact footprint. It is available at 6 or 12 kW with a Mazak SmoothCUT fiber oscillator for consistent beam quality, and it has a 60" x 120" cutting area. GRAND CUT technology delivers accurate cuts with clean edges. A dual pallet changer lets operators load and unload one pallet while the other is cutting, which reduces setup time and increases productivity. Two built-in monitoring cameras let operators check the cutting process without walking around the machine. The SmoothEDGE CNC has a 21.5" display and touch panel, and optional CAD/CAM software is available.
- XB 130-32A Press Brake
The XB 130-32A is a high-precision hybrid press brake with 130 tons of bending force and a 125" bending length. Each ram axis has its own servo motor and pump, which gives fast ram movement and shorter cycle times. Automatic crowning with patented distortion compensation comes standard, and a servo-driven backgauge positions each sheet precisely. The SmoothBEND NC control has a dual touchscreen interface, and optional offline software adds automatic programming and 3D unfolding. The XB 130-32A delivers accuracy and repeatability for both high-mix, low-volume work and high-volume production.
