History of Fluid Power Support
Founded in 2000 as a hydraulics consulting company, Fluid Power Support built its reputation by solving complex challenges for its customers. As customer needs evolved, so did the business. What began with supporting a single customer's metal fabrication requirements quickly revealed a broader demand across its client base, prompting the company to expand into metal fabrication and continuously invest in new manufacturing capabilities.
Over the past 26 years, Fluid Power Support has grown into a state-of-the-art metal fabrication facility offering a comprehensive range of services, including CNC machining, robotic welding, laser cutting, punching, shearing, sandblasting, and powder coating. This evolution has been fueled by a commitment to reinvesting in advanced equipment and technologies that improve efficiency, expand capabilities, and deliver greater value to customers.

Fluid Power Support's relationship with Mazak began in 2013 with the installation of its first OPTIPLEX 3015 laser. More than a decade later, that machine remains an integral part of the company's production, demonstrating the long-term reliability and value that first earned Fluid Power Support's trust. As the business continued to grow, so did its investment in Mazak technology. Today, the company operates five Mazak flat-sheet lasers, along with the recently added FG-400 tube laser, allowing Fluid Power Support to expand its capabilities while improving efficiency throughout the shop.
The decision to invest in the FG-400 was driven by a commitment to continuous improvement. By identifying production bottlenecks and replacing multiple fabrication processes with a single automated solution, the company significantly streamlined its workflow.
"Many of the parts we were producing required two or three different work centers or processes to achieve the finished product," said Mark Korman, CEO and Owner of Fluid Power Support. "The FG-400 has become our one-stop shop."
